Companies all over the globe seem to be doing heir part in going green. From water bottle companies like Poland Springs to even banks like Bank of America everyone seems to be doing their part in greening the Earth. Poland Springs for example reduced their use of plastic by about 30% with their eco-friendly bottles. Bank of America is said to be cutting down 32% on their paper usage, despite consumer growth by up to 25%. Not only do companies save money by going green, but it also helps the environment.
Hopefully other companies will follow suit and try and change their products. If all banks could use less paper and resources our carbon footprint would diminish greatly. Beverage companies and any other corporation that uses plastic devices should try their best to better utilize these harmful resources.

A lot of products are going green, such as cleaning and paper products. A lot of big companies put picture on their products now to promote the fact that they are going green. I think it's great that big companies are trying to make their products more eco-friendly. It is a big help when going shopping. It makes people more aware of the going green movement. It also makes people more inclined to buy products that are going green.
ReplyDeleteThe effort companies have begun to make to "go green" is great. Even large oraganizations and schools are following suit as more and more paperwork is being made available online to avoid wasting tons of paper. It seems that there are more and more products coming out that are geared toward environmental preservation. The best part is seeing that the green movement is truly spreading across all aspects of our society. This should definately help bring others into the movement as well.
ReplyDeleteI honestly do love the fact that big companies and coorperations are going green. By them doing that it really limits the consumers option of being able to buy products that would harm the earth. It really is a big step toward saving God's planet.
